Ailleen Kay Meyer of Raleigh sadly passed away in her home on April 10th, 2023 at the age of 98. She was laid to rest beside her husband George on April 13th and is reunited with him in heaven. Ailleen was born in Dubuque, Iowa on April 4, 1925. She later met and married her husband, George there.They moved to Raleigh, NC after also spending time living in New York and Minnesota. She is survived by her daughter Shari (Bob) Jones of Woodstock, NY, 3 sons: Gregory Meyer of Raleigh, NC, Scott (Dawn) Meyer of Raleigh, NC and Mark (Karen) Meyer of Columbia, MD and her beloved grandsons Max and Zach. She was an amazing woman who openly shared all her love, kindness and caring every day of her life. She was the best wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend imaginable, and we will dearly miss her. May she forever rest in peace.
