Albert Harvey Walston, 82 passed away Sunday December 16, 2018 in Wayne County. He was born in Green County the son of the late William "Doc" and Pattie Walston.

Harvey was known for his kind heart and willingness to put others needs before his own.

He is survived by his loving family, daughter, Wendy Sorrell and her husband Randy, Sisters, Edna Barrow and Betty Langston, brother "Pie" Walston, grandchildren, Conrad, Hope, Brad, Kessler, Colby, Chase, and Chris, great grandchildren Aidan, Zane, and Dexter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made to to Hospice of Wake or Johnston County.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday Dec 19 at Montlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm in the Chapel of Montlawn Funeral Home, Raleigh.
