Alex was born Friday July 5 ^th , 1968 to Loretta Jean Kendall Ward and Larry Curtis Ward.  He is survived by his children Ryan and Lauren Ward and their mother Shannon Ward.  Alex graduated from Apex High School and attended NC State University. In October 2021 he would have graduated from Strawyer University were he was always on the dean's list.  Alex was employed over 20 years with Data General and Leith Mercedes Benz of Cary when deceased.  Alex was a devout Christian man with a love for others and a servant's heart. He loved helping neighbors, friends, and family.  Alex has a brother Larry Christopher (Chris) Ward and wife Wendy Sue Rogers Ward and loved her as a sister.

There will be a public memorial service Sunday September 19, 2021 at 5:00pm at Garner Church of God 2208 Benson Rd. Garner, N.C. 27529.
