Obituary of Alexander Culotta
Alexander "Buzz" Culotta, Jr., 49, passed away Friday morning, March 7, 2014 at UNC Healthcare.
Born April 7, 1964 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Alexander Culotta, Sr., and the late Assunta Culotta. In addition to his mother, Buzz was preceded in death by his daughter, Quinn Culotta; brothers, Carlo and Edward Culotta; and a sister, Diane Culotta Thompkins.
Buzz is survived by his wife of 25 years, Laura Culotta; son, Michael Culotta and his wife Shawntay; daughter, Olivia Culotta; granddaughter, Addison Quinn; brothers, Raymond and Carl Culotta; sister, Nancy Misuraca; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Buzz can be made to Athens Drive Arts Foundation, P.O. Box 37821, Raleigh, NC 27627.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
