Obituary of Alice Davis

Alice "Judy " Davis, 74 of 14920 New Light Rd, Wake Forest died on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at Duke Raleigh Hospital after a very brief battle with cancer.

Born November 9th, 1940 in Wake County, NC she was the daughter of Nathan and Cozie Sherron. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her son, Milton Davis and brothers Pete and Roy Sherron.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Claude (Shank) Davis; Mother, Cozie Sherron; Sons, Michael Davis (Amy) and Tony Newcomb; Daughter in law, Carol Ann E. Davis; Brother, Doug Sherron (Lois); 6 grandchildren, Mason, Zoe and Trey Davis; Chris, Billy and Tonya Newcomb.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12th from 2-5pm at the home to reflect on a life well lived and a woman well loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Judy to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
