Allene "Inez" Sessoms, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.

A native of Wake County, Inez was born in Durham County on November 24, 1929 to the late Julis Dwight and Zada Inez Howard Holleman. She was a loving mother, Granny, sister, Aunt and friend. She was known for her good home cooking. Anytime you came to her home, you had to have something to eat. She was Blessed to be part of a five generation family. Her large family was her world. She lived for her family; They brought great joy to her life. She also had a dog named, Rocky that she dearly loved.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 PM Wednesday at Montlawn Funeral Home, Raleigh, NC. The family receive friends directly after the service at the funeral home.

Inez was survived by her children, Debra Rose of Alton, VA and Mark Kidd of Lillington, NC.

Two Sisters, Madeline Hudson, and Doris Tant, both of Pittsboro, NC

Grandchildren: Chip Rose (Dian) of Hickory, NC, Amanda Dean, Clayton, NC Jessica Kidd, Tampa FL, Phillip Miller, Raleigh, NC and Tracey Johnson, Wendell NC.

Great-Grand Children Amber Rose (Coty Owens) Tyler Dean (Hailey) Caleb Rose, Kaila Deans (Phillip), Hannah Miller, Leah Dean, Christopher Miller,Sydney Rose, Miguel Kidd, Serenity Rose, Isabelle Kidd, Conner Godwin, Hailey Miller & Braedon Zimmerman.

Great-Great- Grandchildren: Isabel :"Izzy" Dean, Austin Dean JR. "AJ", Juniper Owens & Arbor Owens

Preceded in Death by her Parents, three sisters and two brothers.
