Alton Lee Melton, Sr., died on September 5, 2025, in Raleigh, NC, at the age of 87 years. He was born on January 11, 1938, in Forest City, NC. He is survived by his wife Ginger, the absolute love of his life.

They were married on December 25, 1955. He was loved and adored by two sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren, two grandsons- in-law, and three great-grandchildren. A private memorial for immediate family and close friends will be held at a future date.
