IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Angela L.
Stallings
June 27, 1966 – February 1, 2020
Angela "Angie" Lewis Stallings, 53, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 1st, 2020, at Transitions LifeCare after a sixteen-month battle with cancer.
She was born on June 27th, 1966, to Don and Betty Lewis. Angie will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved life and shared the joy of the Lord with everyone she met. Her passions were family, friends, her pets (Maddie, Leia, Sugar and Reese), HGTV, the Hallmark channel (especially Christmas movies) and traveling. Whether it be a quick trip to the beach or a trip cross-country, she enjoyed exploring new places with the ones she loved. Angie had a heart for kids and passionately served as a first-grade teacher at Smith Magnet Elementary School and, most recently, as a coordinating teacher for Wake County Public Schools. In 2019, she obtained her Master's of School Administration from East Carolina University with a goal of becoming a school principal. She was a faithful volunteer at New Hope Church in Garner, serving in the first contact and children's ministry. Her vibrant spirit will forever be in our hearts.
She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Stallings III, daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Joseph Curry, parents, Don and Betty Lewis, and brother and sister-in-law, Benjie and Michelle Lewis.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 3rd, 2020, at The Capital Church, 1308 US-70 W, Garner, NC 27529. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020, at The Capital Church, 1308 US-70 W, Garner, NC 27529. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
Flowers are welcome or, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
