Obituary of Ann Wilkins

Ann Moore Wilkins, of Clayton, passed away Friday morning, October 7, 2011 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Benson, surrounded by her loving family.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2011 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Born June 27, 1928 in Johnston County, NC, Ann was the daughter of the late Dave Moore and Madie Mooneyham Moore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Jean Wilkins.

Ann is survived by her loving husband Harold O. Wilkins, Sr. of 64 wonderful years; son, Harold "Hank" O. Wilkins, Jr. (Cindy) of Four Oaks, daughters, Bonnie Radford (Michael) of Garner, Beth Yarborough (Ben) of Clayton, and Linda Prichard (John) of Holly Springs; six grandchildren, Justin Wilkins, Amy Young, Laura Strickland, Blair Yarborough, Benjamin Yarborough, and John Prichard, Jr.; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ann was an amazing and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially found much joy in her great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her family.
