Annie Mae Long, went home with the Lord on July 20, 2019. Surviving Annie are her son, Rufus Long, Raleigh; daughters, Emma McElveen, Columbia SC, Shirley Lemon, Willow Springs NC and Daisey Poole, Raleigh; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased in death by her parents, Charlie and Cyntilia King; husband, James E. Long and son, Willie E. Long. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 23rd from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603. The funeral service will be held at The Temple of Pentecost, 2312 Lake Wheeler Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603 on Wednesday, July 24th at 11:00 AM.
