Barbara Ann Brown Barbour died peacefully at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC on November 26th, 2018.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years Robert O. Barbour Sr., Son Robert O. Barbour Jr., Daughter Cynthia Renee Barbour Hamm, Brothers Charles Brown of Garner, NC, James Edward "Eddie" Brown (Connie) of Rolesville, Sisters Peggy Brown Amato(Chuck) of Raleigh, Ellen Brown Hursey (Ricky) of Rolesville, NC, Grandson Robert Dalton Hamm and Granddaughter Elizabeth G. Hamm

Barbara Ann is preceded in death by her Father Robert Iree Brown, Mother Imogene Elizabeth Dingler Brown, Brother Robert Brown and Sister Charlotte Brown Hawks.

Barbara Ann was born on June 20th, 1938 in Muscadine, Alabama to Robert Iree Brown and Imogene Elizabeth Brown. Barbara Ann graduated from Broughton High School in 1956. She married Robert O. Barbour (O'Brine) in May of 1955. They lived in Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina where she worked for Ford Motor Credit for 33 years.

A visitation is scheduled for 5-7pm on Saturday Dec. 1st at Montlawn Funeral Home. Her funeral will be Sunday Dec. 2nd at 2pm at Montlawn Funeral Home 2911 S. Wilmington St. Raleigh, NC 27603.
