Barbara Jane Fulton Pease, 80, died Thursday at William Dunlap Hospice Center in Raleigh. She was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a retired nurse. She became a spokesperson for Transitions Lifecare and Hospice in the form of commercials and videos. She was a devout Christian, who loved her Lord and was always willing to share her faith with others.

She was preceded in death by her son Frank C. Pease in 2008. Surviving are her daughters, Susan Sweetser of Raleigh, Amanda Bates and Allyson Pease both of Florida; her son John Kenneth Pease of Connecticut; half-sisters, Peggy Miskowitz of New Jersey and Judy Smith of Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8:30 pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Montlawn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Mausoleum.
