The family of Barbara A. Poole, age 85, of Raleigh, NC is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

She was a strong woman, a true "Steel Magnolia" who always put others first, especially her family and friends.  Barbara loved Topsail beach, collecting lighthouses, and enjoyed crocheting.

Barbara was a Deputy Clerk at the Wake County Courthouse for 28 years where she gained lifetime friendships prior to retiring and caring for her grandchildren.  Formerly, she worked at Marie's Nursery and at Dean's Concession (NC State Fair).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Felix Abraham Poole, Jr. and her sister, Joyce Arnold Denning.  She is survived by her "boys" Dennis, Greg (Joanne), and Scott, and beloved grandchildren Kristen and Tori.

She will forever be in our hearts and minds.
