Barbara Ann Raines, 78, of Swansboro, NC claimed her place among the angels on August 25th, 2014. She was born on February 5, 1936 to Otis Ray and Virginia Creech in Garner, NC.

Mrs. Raines is survived by her devoted husband of 27 years, John Daniel Raines. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Elaine Bozart Woodard and husband David, and Brenda Bozart Gabriele. Also survived by stepchildren, Perry Raines and wife Wanda, Regina Raines Whitehead and husband Jeffrey.

She was a beloved grandmother to, Jimmy Ray Allen Jr. and wife Amy, Daniel Parrish and wife Dawn, Kimberly Medlin Barefoot and husband Johnny, Joshua Parrish and wife Lisa; 5 step grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 19 step-great grandchildren. Siblings Cecil Creech, James Creech and partner Jay Cooper, and sister Shearon Byrd and husband Jackie.

Barbara's love for life and her family was truly amazing. She touched so many lives and will be deeply missed.
