Obituary of Barbara Wilson

Barbara Kingsbury Wilson, 88, a former resident of Raleigh, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ onThursday, August 7, 2014. Her greatest joy in life was her family and ministering to others in the name of Jesus. She was in fellowship and resided at Pittsboro Christian Village.

Surviving are her sons, Doug Wilson and wife Sandy and Mark Wilson all of Raleigh; daughter, April Gillespie and husband David of Raleigh; sisters, Virginia Uram of Seattle, WA, June Dennis of Pittsboro and Juanita Hayes of Charlotte; grandchildren, Charlotte Davis and husband Jay, Jeff Wilson, Ben Gillespie and wife Rachel, Meredith Gillespie and Hannah Gillespie; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 - 3:00 pm on Sunday prior to the funeral service.
