Belinda Merritt Lynn, 70, passed away on June 1, 2020.  She was born in Sampson County, NC on June 29, 1949 to the late E.L and Rose Vann Merritt.  She was preceded in death by her husband Neal Lynn and brother Joel Thomas Merritt.

Belinda graduated from Garner High School and had a lifelong love of the NC State Wolfpack.

Belinda leaves to cherish memory  her son Richard and wife Jessica Lynn; grandchildren Jayson, Brooke and Alexander Lynn all of Garner; brother Samuel C. and Fran of Charlotte; nieces Laura Arnold (Merritt), of Easton, PA., Jennifer Nemrava (Merritt) of Chester County PA, Ann Merritt of New Jersey; nephew Samuel Craig and Lisa Merritt of Boyertown, PA, great nieces Leala Arnold of New Jersey and Lillian Rose Merritt of Pennsylvania.  Belinda will be missed by her lifelong best friend Gwen Davis.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 10 to 11 AM at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC  27603, with a funeral service to follow in the Chapel at Montlawn Funeral Home.
