IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betsy P.
Stephenson
July 6, 1934 – December 11, 2019
Betsy Page Watkins Stephenson, 85 of Garner, went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2019. She was born to Catherine Bowling and Johnie Page of Willow Springs. Betsy was as mischievous as she was bright, witty and smart. She never met a stranger. Betsy graduated from Hugh Morson High, then went on to graduate from Hardbargers Business College. She loved working in her always immaculate yard, reading and writing poetry. Two of her poems were published in Reader's Digest. She had an intense interest in psychology and pursued every avenue of information she could gather. Under her high school picture was a quote that said "wherever there's noise and fun I'll be there"
Betsy was predeceased by her son, Jackie Watkins; sister, Betty Medlin and great-grandson, Jackson. She is survived by her partner, Joe Pratt and grandchildren, Virginia Page Watkins and Brandon Wayne Watkins and great-grandchildren, Brody, Olivia Page and Jacklyn.
"I want no fancy parting words,
I want no sad goodbye.
Keep those you love in your heart,
for there the memories lie"
