Obituary of Betty Bullard

Betty Jewell Nunnery Bullard, 76, of Raleigh, passed away on Friday evening, June 14, 2013.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Carolina Pines Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Coats officiating. Interment will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 to 11:30 AM prior to the service.

A native of Sampson County, Betty was the daughter of the late Troy C. Nunnery, Sr. and Roney Mae Matthews Nunnery. Betty was retired from North Carolina State Government. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lamar Nunnery; a brother, Rev. Troy C. Nunnery Jr.; a sister, Audrey Faye Nunnery; a step-sister, Edna Earle Faircloth; and nieces, Ashley Leigh Nunnery and Lynette Hairr.

Betty is survived by her son, Troy Lamar Bullard and wife Jennifer Shofner Bullard and her beloved grandchildren, Olivia Jewell Bullard and Johnathon Shofner Bullard, all of Four Oaks.

Also surviving are two brothers, Gregory Nunnery of Raleigh and Kenneth W. Nunnery and wife, Virginia, of Autryville; her late brother's wife, Frances Nunnery Teachey of Wilmington, and many loving nieces and nephews.
