Obituary of Betty Campbell

Betty Lou Collier Campbell, 84, died peacefully, under the care of hospice, on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Angier.

She was a former Raleigh resident who was employed as a nursing assistant with Mayview Convalescent Center for 20 years. She traveled the world, enjoyed flowers, beaches and her family.

Surviving are her three sons, Grantland Michael Collier and wife Shirley of Dunn, William Harvey Collier and wife Leslie of Raleigh, and David Patrick Collier and wife Pamela of Benson; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Archie and Kathleen Stephenson Smith; her two husbands, William Collier and Lynn Campbell; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at Milner Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was a member. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 am Friday prior to the funeral service.
