CLAYTON
Betty Lou Smith, 74, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021. Betty was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on May 17, 1947. She devoted her life to loving and caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie Smith of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Betty is survived by her brothers, Bobby Fred Smith (Betty) and Billy Wayne Smith; sister, Brenda Lee Smith; nephews, Chris Smith (Eva) and Scott Smith (Monica); niece, Shannon Mink; great-nephews, Donovan Mink, Ian Mink, Jordan Mink and Nathan Mink; great-niece, Christina Smith.
She graduated from Garner Senior High School in Garner, North Carolina and is a retiree of the City of Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park at 1:00pm on Monday, October 18, 2021.
