Mrs. Betty Walston Langston, 84, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, June 19,2022, into the arms of her Heavenly Father. A native of Greene County, she was born May 18, 1938, the youngest of six to William "Doc" Murphy Walston and Patty "Elizabeth" Holloway Walston. Mrs. Langston was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Alfred Murphy Langston; her brothers, Melford Walston, Rayford, "RT" Walston of Stantonsburg ; Bennett "Pie" Walston of Walstonburg; Harvey Walston of Clayton; and her sister Edna Barrow, of Snow Hill. Her surviving family includes her daughter, Lisa and son in law, Thomas Hall; granddaughters Jordan Hall of Raleigh; and Brittany Lineberry and her husband Andrew of Hampstead.

To many of her nieces, nephews, and family she will forever be known as " Doll Baby", a name that has remined with her for decades. Her love of Christ and her steadfast faith to Him and family will not be forgotten.
