Obituary of Betty Ostrishko

Betty Watkins Ostrishko, 80, of Cary, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 16, 2011.

A native of Durham County, Betty was born June 22, 1931, the daughter of the late Otis and Pearl Alford Watkins. She was an accomplished seamstress and caring childcare provider. Betty was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and New Horizons Church but her passion in life was loving and caring for her family.

Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, John D. Ostrishko; daughter, Lydia Ostrishko of Morrisville; sons, Michael Ostrishko (Shari) of Willow Spring, Gary Ostrishko (Missy) of Apex and her granddaughters, Nicole and Kayla Ostrishko.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Montlawn Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service Saturday.
