Obituary of Beverly Schell
Beverly Monahan Schell, 82, died Thursday, December 10, 2015 at her residence in the arms of her children. She was born on June 16, 1933 in Detroit, MI to Lawrence and Virginia Monahan.
She was a wonderful mother who raised five children and always enjoyed giving to others. Beverly's loving and generous spirit continues to touch lives. It was her desire, that after her death she would help others by donating her body to medical science.
Surviving are her children, Dennis Schell, Meta Christine and Sabrina Schell of Raleigh, Danielle Roy of Peterborough, Ontario and Hans Schell of Bath, Ontario; her siblings, John and Carol Monahan, Jim and Cindy Monahan, Michael and Peggy Monahan and Virginia Norris.
A celebration of life will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 4505 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27609, or Salvation Army, 1863 Capital Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27604 or Second Chance Pet Adoptions, 6003 Chapel Hill Road, NC 27607.
