Obituary of Billy Honeycutt

Billy Carson Honeycutt, Sr., 77, died Thursday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He was married to the late Connie Capps Honeycutt for 50 years and is survived by his son, Billy Carson Honeycutt, Jr. and daughter in-law, Sheila Campbell Honeycutt of Raleigh; granddaughters, Megan and Whitney Honeycutt of Raleigh; sister, Sandra Holleman and her husband Walter of Raleigh.

Billy was the owner of Billy Honeycutt and Sons Grading until his retirement. He was a loving father and best friend to his son, Billy Carson Honeycutt, Jr. He was a loving and extremely caring grandfather to his granddaughters, Megan and Whitney Honeycutt. He enjoyed fishing and loved working. His words of wisdom will forever be in the memories of his family, "Tighten Up."

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel., Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.
