Billy T. Wilder, 88, died Sunday. He loved the Lord and was strong in his faith. He was an amazing, loving husband, father and grandpa. He worked as a surveyor with the City of Raleigh for 30 years. His hobbies were vast and he loved fishing, camping, gardening and spending time with his family. He loved his NC State Wolfpack.
Surviving are his daughters, Denise Willard and husband Wade of Winston Salem and Susan Green and husband Dana of Coats; grandchildren, Christopher Williams (Jetana), Michael Williams, Ameila Mowrer (Aaron); great grandchildren, Skylar Williams, Tyler Williams, Worth Williams, Blayden Williams and Aiden Williams; sister, Louise White; brother, Freemon Wilder.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 pm Thursday prior to the chapel service.
