Bobby Lee Carroll, Sr., 89, of Raleigh, N.C. passed away June 5, 2019.  He was born April 10, 1930 in Raleigh to the late Thomas Manuel Carroll and Neva Emma Carroll and is also preceded in death by his sister Ruth Kathleen Smith.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife Shirley Weaver Carroll, his sister Emma Jean Kaplan of Clayton, N.C., his daughters Cathy Haddock and her husband Bill Haddock of Asheville, N.C., Doris Jones and her husband Al Jones of Leesville, Florida, and his son Bobby Lee Carroll, Jr. of Asheville, N.C.  Bobby is also survived by four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday June 8, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, with a funeral service at 1:00 PM and burial to follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.
