Brenda Pilkington Anders passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, October 21, 2015 at Rex Hospital.

Born February 29, 1952 in Selma, NC, she was the daughter of Katherine Mullins Pilkington and the late William Garland Pilkinton. She was a graduate of Needham Broughton High School and was the owner-operator of a successful medical transcription company for many years.

In addition to her mother, Brenda is survived by her husband of 25 years, Paul Douglas Anders; brothers, Michael Pilkinton (Mary) of Timberlake, NC, Lester Pilkinton (Martha) of McLean, VA: a niece, Heather Pilkington; two nephews, John and Will Pilkinton; and a God-Daughter, Andi Stephens to cherish her memory.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Montlawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., Saturday, Prior to the service.
