Brenda Fore Turnipseed

Brenda Fore Turnipseed, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Brenda was born on October 22, 1948, in Lee County, North Carolina, to the late George Truman Fore and the late Jean Kelly Fore.

Brenda’s life will be remembered by those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on through her family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her years.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, George Truman Fore and Jean Kelly Fore, and her beloved husband, Phillip Marion Turnipseed.

Brenda is survived by daughter Kelly Turnipseed Alcock and husband Alan Randall Alcock of Cary; granddaughter, Claire Alcock; sister, Dr. Lavonne K Fore and husband, J. Mack Karesh of Charleston, SC; brother, George T. Fore, Jr. and wife Joyce K. Almond of Raleigh; brother, John B. Fore and wife, Cynthia of Travelers Rest, SC; and sister, Ann F. Howell and husband, Wes Howell of Sanford; nephews and niece, Gabriel Fore, Elizabeth Fore, Luke Fore, and Andrew Howell; great-nephews, Truman Fore, Oliver Fore, and Cameron Fore; and great-niece, Leni Howell.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made in Brenda’s memory to Samaritan’s Purse in support of Operation Christmas Child.
