Obituary of C. Russell Godwin
Charles Russell Godwin, 92, of Raleigh, died Tuesday morning, December 15, 2009 at Falls River Village Assisted Living.
Graveside Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Montlawn Memorial Park.
A native of Raleigh, Mr. Godwin was a retired car inspector with Seaboard Coastline Railroad and served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by his daughter, Ann Godwin Lyczkowski and her husband Leon and two granddaughters, Suzanne Lyczkowski and Barbara Lyczkowski, all of Raleigh.
