Carey Guyton Barham, 89, of Raleigh, NC passed away Tuesday evening, January 21, 2025 at the SECU Hospice House. He was born March 26, 1935 to Milton and Mozelle Barham. Carey lived a full and meaningful life. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna Barham, his daughter Marsha, and grand daughter Rebecca Ross.

He was a dedicated entrepreneur in real-estate and business owner. He enjoyed Nascar racing, square dancing, playing Rook, listening to country music and hymns. Carey really enjoyed eating a good plate of pork barbecue and fried chicken. We will miss him but we know he put his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and is now at peace in Heaven.

The visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 12:00 pm in the Montlawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Mitch Horton officiating. Burial will follow in Montlaw Memorial Park.

He is survived by two children, Elaine Ross and husband Kevin and Michael C. Barham; three grandchildren Brittany and husband Will Marsh, Chase and wife Meredith Barham, and Avery Barham; and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Maggie.
