RALEIGH

Carl E. Strawser passed away on Sunday April 24,2021. Born on July 31,1936 in Port Royal PA, he was the son of the late Eddie L. and Dorothy Hockenberry Strawser.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Oliver Strawser of Raleigh; his two sons, Alvin Thomas Strawser of Clayton NC and Kyle E. Strawser of Raleigh NC. He also has two grandchildren, Cassie E Jenkins [Matt] of Jacksonville NC and Kaleb Wayne Strawser of Clayton NC.

In addition, he has two surviving sisters,  Larue S. Whistler of Bristol VA. and Donna K. Dunn [Peter] of Linden TN.

At his request he will be cremated and no service.
