IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carmen Emilia
Ramos
November 2, 1943 – December 9, 2025
Carmen Emilia Ramos, lovingly known as Mama, and commonly known as Carmeen, was born on November 2, 1943, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and on December 9, 2025, she gently entered the arms of her Lord in Cary, North Carolina.
For 50 beautiful years, Carmen shared a devoted and loving marriage with her husband, Vidalino Ramos. Together they built a home filled with faith, love, laughter, and family. She was a treasured mother to her son, George Vazquez, and a loving mother-in-law to Lisa, whom Carmen absolutely adored and loved as her own. She is now joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved daughter, Katherine Marie Ramos.
Carmen was also a cherished sister. She deeply loved her sister Gloria and is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved older sister, Ester, whom she loved dearly.
A woman of deep faith, Carmen loved the Lord with all her heart. Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life and was reflected in the kindness, grace, and love she showed to everyone around her. She found her greatest happiness in caring for her family—her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren—each of whom held a very special place in her heart.
Her love extended to her nieces and nephews, whom she adored and treated as her own, always making sure they felt welcomed, cared for, and prayed over.
Carmen was also famously known as the best cook. Her kitchen was the heart of the home—a place where stories were shared, prayers were spoken, and meals were prepared with love. Anyone who was blessed to sit at her table will forever miss her cooking, knowing that every dish she made came straight from her heart.
Carmen leaves behind a legacy of faith, unconditional love, and selfless devotion. Though we mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, surrounded by God's love, and reunited with those she has longed to see again.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. 🤍
