Obituary of Carolyn Lamm
Carolyn Simmons Lamm, 65, of Wilson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Meekins Simmons.
She is survived by her husband, James Ray Lamm, Sr.; a son, James Lamm, Jr and wife Elena of Singapore; a daughter, Monica Jakubowski and husband Lucian of Apex; a daughter, Susan Morrissey and husband Tony of Farmville; a son, David Lamm and wife Monica of Ames, Iowa; eleven grandchildren Daniel, Kira, Megan, Hannah, Merry, Sarah, Michael, Erin, Andrew, Madeline, and Genevieve; two great-grandchildren Jordyn and Charlie; her father, Harry Simmons; a brother Benny Simmons; and a sister Jean Gonzalez.
A private funeral service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh on Friday, December 4, 2009. The family will have visitation at their home in Wilson that afternoon from 4:30 to 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wilmed Hospice, 1705 Tarboro St. SW, Wilson, NC 27893 or the American Cancer Society.
