Catina Renae Horton, lovingly known as "Tina," was born on April 3, 1973, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to Jesse Horton and Betty Cobb Partin.

Tina received her education through the Wake County Public School System. She was a fun-loving spirit who enjoyed dancing, making people laugh, and bringing joy wherever she went. Tina had a personality that was larger than life. She was outspoken, full of energy, and her presence could always be felt. As those who knew her would say, you often heard Tina before you saw her—that was simply who she was. And yes, if something crossed her the wrong way, her temper was definitely "off the chain," but that was all part of the unforgettable woman everyone loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Horton and Betty Cobb Partin, and her brother, Gregory D. Horton.

Tina leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Njeri Horton, Elijah Horton, and Malik Brown; one daughter, Armani Shevos; three beloved grandsons, Nikhil Powell, Nolan Powell, and Naryan Powell; Brothers: Patrick Stamas of Brunswick, Maryland and Jeffrey Whitney of Wendell, North Carolina; an uncle: Harvey Jr. Horton of Raleigh and three aunts of Raleigh: Joann Cobb-Radulescu, Evelyn Taylor, and Lucille Cobb; along with a host of other loving relatives and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

The family sincerely appreciates every act of kindness shown during this difficult time. No gesture has gone unnoticed. Every prayer, visit, hug, phone call, and word of encouragement has brought comfort and strength as we grieve the loss of our beloved Tina.
