Obituary of Charles Williams

Charles Wesley Williams, 78, of Raleigh, died Friday morning, September 10, 2010 at his home.

Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Monday in Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday prior to the service.

A native of Wake County, Charles was born August 9, 1932 the son of the late Douglas and Bessie Williams. He was the owner and operator of Williams Used Cars in Fuquay-Varina and enjoyed collecting and restoring antique cars. Charles loved the time he spent at his home away from home in Surf City.

Charles is survived by his son, Wesley Williams and his wife Kathy of Fuquay-Varina; daughter, Karen Page and her husband Lindsey of Raleigh; grandchildren, Ariel and Melissa Williams and Kristin and Douglas Page as well as one brother, Hugh Williams of Whiteville. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rebecca Williams in 2007.
