WENDELL
Charles Edward Wilson, born December 5, 1939 in Seaford, Delaware to Frank and Beatrice Wilson. The second child and only son of four children. His three sisters are Frankye Satchell of Delaware, Elizabeth Wilson of Nevada, and Mary Coleman of Georgia.
Known to his family and friends as "Eddie", Eddie graduated in 1957 from William C. Jason Comprehensive High School in Georgetown, Delaware. Then on to the Marine Corps 1958, serving his country during a time when Viet Nam was simply a conflict.
Next, to the Bay of Pigs as an aircraft mechanic aboard carriers.
Upon returning home he migrated to New Jersey. There he held many jobs, none to his satisfaction until he landed a position as a Master Heat Treater. This position did not suit his fancy very long, so on to working with N.J. DOT (Department of Transportation)
maintaining trains. A few years later he became the Principle Railroad Inspector for the state.
