Obituary of Charlotte Kirkland

Mrs. Charlotte Fay Kirkland, 63, of Raleigh, died March 20, 2007.

A native of Richmond County, Charlotte was born September 16, 1943, to the late R. E. and Imogene Dingler Brown.

Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Jenny Dippel and husband, Ken of California, and Jill Whitman and husband, Mark of Missouri; 3 brothers, Robert H. Brown of Raleigh, Charles R. Brown and wife, Jackie of Garner, and J. Eddie Brown and wife, Connie of Zebulon; 3 sisters, Barbara B. Barbour and husband, R. OBrien Barbour, of Raleigh, Peggy Amato and husband, Charles of Florida, and Ellen Hursey and husband, Rick of Zebulon; 5 grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister, Barbara Barbour, 4900 Lake Wheeler Rd., Raleigh, NC 27603.
