Chester Warren Spencer

Mr. Chester Warren Spencer, 81, of Raleigh, passed away November 11, 2008.

Chester was born May 7, 1927, to the late Glen and Marth Langstaff Spencer. Chester loved spending time with his family, whether they were out boating, fishing, camping, or just sharing time at home. The other great love he had was Stylemasters, where everyone that came for a haircut soon became his friend.

Chester is survived by his children James Spencer, David Ray Spencer, Sharon Spencer Edwards, Betty Jo Spencer Lawrence, and Tommy Spencer; and a granddaughter Kailyn Spencer. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children Betty Spencer Parks.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service, at Montlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.
