RALEIGH

Christine Warner Dover, age 98, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on October 21, 2020. She was a resident of Spring Arbor Care Facility of Cary.

Christine was born in Clarkton in Bladen County on February 19, 1922. She graduated from Cary High School and lived the remainder of her life in Wake County, helping her husband operate a dairy farm.

Dover was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, H. Frank Dover; her parents, Molton E. Warner and Jonnie R. Warner; and eight brothers and sisters.

Dover is survived by one sister Eva W. Jones; three sons, Terry F. Dover and his wife, Jo; Mark W. Dover and his wife, Charlotte; Kim G. Dover and his wife, Patti all of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Troy B. Dover and his wife, Eva; Stanley F. Dover and his wife, Amy; Ryan N. Dover; Anna D. Teem and her husband, Ryne; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Christine was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and longtime member of Macedonia United Methodist Church in Cary, where she taught Sunday School and loved Bible study. She had a ministry heart of care and encouragement for others, and considered it a privilege to correspond to those in need.

Due to COVID restrictions, the family will hold a private funeral service on Sunday afternoon. The family wishes to invite friends and the community to join them at a Graveside Service in honor of Mrs. Dover. The Graveside Service will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27603.

In lieu of flowers the family invites you to consider a donation to Macedonia United Methodist Church in Cary, Bible Broadcast Network in Charlotte or Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh.
