Christopher Michael Carbone, 54, of Willow Spring, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his home on January 3, 2022.
Christopher was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Michael George Carbone and Helen Margaret Rogers Carbone on June 15, 1967. As the son of a Chief Master Sargent in the United States Air Force, Christopher spent his primary school years in Bellevue, Nebraska and Merritt Island, Florida. In 1983, Christopher moved to Raleigh, North Carolina with his family where he attended Sanderson High School. Christopher was graduated in 1985 and went on to earn a degree in auto mechanics from Wake Technical College. His degree in auto mechanics kickstarted a career of over 30 years in the industry. He was the former owner of Axle Connection Inc in Raleigh, NC.
Christopher enjoyed Dallas Cowboys football, summers skiing on the lake and was a proud member of the National Rifle Association. He was a hard worker, had a huge heart and was a loyal, lifelong friend. Christopher was a loving and devoted father. In his spare time he could be found helping his son, daughter and son-in-law with various projects including a home renovation. The light of his life were his two grandsons. Christopher was a loving, kind and patient grandfather who never tired of playing with Hot Wheels, shooting Nerf guns or teaching his grandson's new skills. Christopher's true identity was in Christ. He passionately loved his Heavenly Father and found true joy in spreading the gospel to all who would listen.
