Clara passed away in Conroe, Texas, on October 13, 2022, at the age of 96. She was born in Wake County, NC, on November 4, 1925 to Frank and Artelia Watkins Crabtree.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Q. Roebuck, her parents, Frank and Artelia Crabtree; her brothers, Rhoan and Chester Crabtree; her sisters, Mildred Crabtree Thompson and Ollie Mae Crabtree Roberts.

Clara is survived by her daughter, Stella Roebuck Stalder (Philip), granddaughter, Jennifer Stalder Harper (Jeff), grandson, Christopher Stalder, great grandchildren, Grace and Philip Harper and Emma Stalder; sisters, Betty Allison, Louise Yow, Elizabeth (Lib) Davis; brothers, Doug and Lewis Crabtree; many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends around the country.

Clara retired from teaching with the Wake County School System in Raleigh, NC, after many years of service and moved to Texas to be closer to her family.

A graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park at 12 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2022, with a reception immediately following.
