Obituary of Clarence Lorbacher

Clarence Edmond Lorbacher, Jr., 75, went home to Heaven Thursday evening, February 20, 2014.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Wake County, Edmond was born November 6, 1938, the son of the late Clarence Edmond Lorbacher and Hazel Carroll Lorbacher. He was retired as a designer and engineer with the North Carolina Dept. of Transportation with over 30 years of service.

Edmond is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Eunice Sorrell Lorbacher; his twin sister, Ann Goodwin and her husband, Gerald Goodwin; sister, Patricia Franks and her husband, Earl Franks as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Faith Lorbacher in 1998, his son, Christopher Edmond Lorbacher in 1976 and his mother and father in-law, Virgil G. and Rachel Sorrell.

Edmond will be missed by all of his family and friends. We look forward to our reunion in Heaven.
