Colleen House Coppedge was born April 30, 1929, and was the beloved daughter of Navie and Myrtle House. She left us on Thursday, February 4, 2016, and was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and reunited with her parents, brothers and sisters. Colleen grew up in Raleigh and graduated from Broughton High School. She became a nurse and worked 19years at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh. Her lasting legacy would be that she loved her family and did everything in her power to take care of them. She was a true "Florence Nightingale". Colleen leaves to cherish her loving memory her son, Jack Given, Jr. (Frances); her daughter, Diane Hussaini (Nabil); four beautiful grandchildren, Jack Given, III, Tiffany Johnson, Sami Hussaini and Adam Hussaini; five precious great grandchildren, Rhyan, Reaghan, Reese, Caine and Lochlyn and many wonderful nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home on Monday, February 8, 2016, from 6-8 pm. A service of celebration will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at 1:00 pm at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
