Connie Chambers,76, died peacefully January 11, 2023 at Rex Hospital. She was born August 12, 1946 in Norfolk VA to Cecil FM Morris Jr and Stella Christine (Nelson) Morris. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister Christine "Honey" Albert, brother Cecil FM Morris III and grandson Logan Chambers.

She is survived by husband Walter L Chambers Jr of Raleigh, son Walter "Chip" L Chambers III and daughter Christa M Chambers. Also grandchildren Luke Faircloth, Jessica Chambers, Jenna Chambers, CJ Faircloth and great granddaughter Emma L Faircloth. She also had many beloved nieces and nephews.
