Obituary of Cymerline Curtis

Mrs. Cymerline Whitley Curtis, 91, of Raleigh, died Wednesday evening, February 24, 2010 at Rex Healthcare.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

A native of Johnston County, Mrs. Curtis was the last surviving child of Victor and Della Parham Whitley of Archer Lodge. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and worked in their Children's Day Care.

Mrs. Curtis is survived by her daughter, Nancy Curtis Holt of Clayton; grandson, Christopher D. Holt (Vernie Wall) of Cary; great grandsons, Tristan Holt and Dylan Wall. She was special to her many nieces and nephews and they were very special to her. Cymerline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Preston Curtis in 1982.
