Obituary of Daniel Barillas

Daniel Ernesto Barillas, 34, of Raleigh, died Sunday morning, March 28, 2010.

Funeral Service and entombment will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in The Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home from 10 a.m-2 p.m. and 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday.

Born in Chicago, Il., Danny was a partner in ABL Fire Protection Co. in Raleigh and considered his co-workers part of his family. He was a loving fianc, father, son, brother and friend to those fortunate enough to know him. Danny was the consummate prankster and ironically his life will be celebrated on one of his favorite days of the year; April Fool's Day!

Danny is survived by his fiance, Shawntel Pichardo; sons, Daniel Tomas Barillas, Jr. and Luciano Ramon Barillas; mother, Maggie Pastrana of Miami, FL; father, Carlos Enrique Barillas of Chicago, IL; grandfather, Eufemio Pastrana, his brother, Carlos Enrique Barillas and his wife, Adriana Hernandez, and his aunt, Maria Teresa Diaz, all of Miami, Florida.
