Obituary of Daniel Humphrey

Daniel Cole "Danny" Humphrey, 55 of Garner, passed away Monday evening, August 3, 2015 at Wake Medical Center.

Born January 14, 1960 in Onslow County, NC, he was the son of Roger Hornsby Humphrey, whom he loved and adored, and the late Helen Cole Humphrey; step-mother, Roseanna Crump Humphrey; and step-sister, Elizabeth A. Moore.

Danny is survived by his life partner, Keith A. Reynolds; and his beloved babies, Tyson, Rosie, and Bootsy; step-brother, Chip Moore and wife Karen; nephews, Brad, Jeff, and Greg Moore; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Danny was a graduate of North Carolina State University and went on to work at the university for over 20 years. He also was an avid Wolfpack fan. Danny loved all people and had a soft spot for animals. He was devoted to Keith and the love for their pets. Danny would go above and beyond for any family or friend who needed him. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Danny's Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Danny to Carolina Pines Baptist Church, 2655 S. Saunders St., Raleigh, NC 27603.
