Obituary

David (Dave) Allen Rouser was born on June 4, 1955 in Johnstown,  Pennsylvania. He fell asleep in death on September 23, 2023. Dave was the son of Merle Henry and Donna Jean (Dye) Rouser. He was the oldest of five siblings. He was educated at Johnstown Vocational Technical School in Pennsylvania. Dave married the love of his life, Patricia Anne Adams Rouser, on June 16, 2009 and shared a beautiful marriage for over 14 years. Patty, as Patricia was fondly called, was a loving and dedicated wife and always by Dave's side day and night during his illness.
Dave showed a sincere interest in learning about Jehovah. He had been studying the Bible for over a year but attended meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses at the Kingdom Hall for several years with Patty. In spite of his battle with his illness, Dave continued faithful and demonstrated strong convictions about the Bible truths he was learning. He believed in Jehovah's promises, looked forward to coming to the meetings, and became close friends with many of the brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall. His favorite scriptures were John 5:5-9 which describes how Jesus healed a man who had been sick for 38 years; and Proverbs 3:5, 6 which encourages all to trust in Jehovah with all of your heart.
Dave always had a beautiful smile that embraced others, a generous heart and a positive attitude that prevailed during wonderful times and difficult moments. He developed a fine reputation for being very friendly, kind and genuine and never met a stranger. Despite chronic health problems, Dave always tried to encourage friends and family members by his friendly demeanor, heartfelt comments and well wishes for their well-being.
Dave was predeceased by one brother-in-law, James Lavis. Left to cherish his precious memory are his loving, devoted wife and constant companion, Patricia Anne Adams Rouser, one son, Mason Andrew Rouser and one daughter, Lianna Marie Dimperio; two stepdaughters, Tess Marie Evans, and Codee Lynn McCuiston; three grandchildren, Ila Dimperio, Thayne Dimperio and Harper McCuiston; four sisters, Diane Lynne Lavis; Joyce Elaine DiBuono (David). Sandra Renee Miller (Larry Lech); Wendy Kaye Rouser; (David Burgan) and a host of other friends.
