David Wayne Massengill, 73, of Raleigh died at his home Saturday September 21, 2019.  Born April 1946, he is survived by his fiancée Julia S. LaColle, sister in law Janice Massengill, nieces Lori Emory and Karen Wright (Allen), nephew Brian Massengill (Jennifer), and 8 great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his mother Elaine Massengill, father William Massengill, Jr., sister Sharon Massengill, and brother Mike Massengill.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday, September 28 with service following at Montlawn Funeral Home in Raleigh.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your animal rescue organization of choice.
