David Ray Satterthwaite, 66, of Angier, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 in Lillington. He was born in Wake County, a son of the late John and Kathleen (Holder) Satterthwaite. Along with his parents, he is also predeceased by his siblings: Polly, John, Jean, and Nancy.

David was self-employed in the roofing industry, and also in residential improvements. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time at the beach and most of all being with his grandchildren, and even giving them rides on his Harley Davidson.

David is survived by his wife, Rebecca Satterthwaite, his children: Jessica Encarnacion, Jamie Pryor, Zach and Jermaiah Adams; grandchildren: Daylon, Carson, Mason, Natalie, Ethan, Manuel, and Bianca; his siblings: Johnnie Thompson, JD Dupree and Cathy Perry, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 5, 2022 in the Chapel of Montlawn Funeral Home 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
